Enhancing resident care and supporting Christ The King Manor’s programs and services, the members of the Auxiliary are our ambassadors to the community.
The Auxiliary has been an integral part of the Christ the King Manor since its earliest days. For over 30 years the Auxiliary has supported our activities benefiting seniors and their families throughout the area.
The purpose of the Auxiliary is to enhance the comfort, care, and dignity of all residents within the Christ the King Manor community. The Auxiliary also supports the services, programs, facilities, and mission of Christ the King Manor through volunteer services, fund raising, and a positive image to the community. The members of the Auxiliary are our ambassadors in the community and we appreciate them!
Since its inception the Auxiliary has contributed several hundred thousand dollars to support the mission of Christ the King Manor. In addition to helping provide several vehicles for the transportation needs of of residents, the Auxiliary has supported the addition of the Personal Care Unit and the Chapel. The Auxiliary is the helping hand we can always count on.
The most recent Auxiliary reports list current membership at close to 600, and new members are always welcome. Some of the benefits of membership including receiving the bi-monthly newsletter and attending the annual Summerfest Chicken Barbeque. But the biggest benefit of membership is knowing that you played a vital part in helping support the care of seniors in need of our services.
